Football making is not an easy business and not much cities are into it. Over the years, lots of cities in the world are thriving the change of making football and earning money from it but, they were not able to. Still, there are some cities which are making football and also enjoying playing with it in their own cities.
One city who has the production rate of more than 40 percent of the world football production is not In any big developed country but in fact in the city of SIALKOT, PAKISTAN. This city has been making football from the colonial era when the British were ruling. Today more than 100 Companies are making football in this city. In the world cups too the balls made in Sialkot were used. Thought without much facilities this city has been the champ in making footballs and still making progress.
India is the second market following Pakistan Which does the production of footballs. It has almost 300,000 people who are working in the industry of football making. A big percentage of them are children who does the stitching. Though child labor is a crime still, they are working and increasing by the day. India has been exporting the footballs around the world in big countries like, UK has been importing the most of the footballs from India with France, Germany, and Italy importing a bit lesser footballs.
Footballs production has been happening in Mexico, Germany, Argentina, Spain , Italy , Korea, France , USA and so on. These countries have not been a big makers of football but still they are making some balls which have been used It the past for world cups or league matches and also for other leisure purposes
